An evening at the river ...enjoying fresh foods from the farmers market, reading poems, sharing thoughts to invoke rain and a caring for the river and all it gives to us throughout the valley and Monterey Peninsula...a beautiful way to end the day at the end of the work week.

Not only is the clean up good for our river, it is good for the oceans. The plastic and garbage eventually washes out to sea and pollutes our oceans, the birds and fish that mistake it for food and ultimately we end up eating the plastic ourselves in microscopic molecules. Plastic is here forever. Please recycle if not for the animals for yourself!
