Trash clean up along the lower Carmel River bank, World Rivers Day, September 28, 2013. Trash clean up was conducted along three main locations of the river with over 40 volunteers from Save our Shores, Carmel River Steelhead Association and CAL AM Organized by Paola Berthoin and Marie Butcher.

Gathering of the Waters for the Carmel River Celebration Day, 2013. We met along the river in three locations at the Birthing Rock below the Los Padres Dam, at the river near De Dampierre Park and the Carmel River Lagoon, shared reflections, stories from Passion for Place, dance and song.
